The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life respects the moral rights of authors over their works, in accordance with current legislation. By submitting a paper for evaluation and publication, authors agree to the following conditions:

  1. The contents are disseminated under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 Creative Commons License License, allowing third parties to share, use and adapt the works for non-commercial purposes, as long as the authorship and original publication in the journal are acknowledged, and the same license conditions are maintained for the derivative works.
  2. Along with the manuscript, authors must send a PDF of their official identification and a declaration of originality (available in Formats for submission and publication) where they declare:
  • Your individual authorship or the contribution of each co-author.
  • The originality and unpublicity of the manuscript.
  • That the work has not been postulated in another publication.
  • That the data and references are duly accredited.
  • That they have the necessary authorizations or undertake to process them if the work is accepted.
  • Your consent for the text to be reviewed with duplicity detection software.
  1. If the work is approved, each author will sign a publication letter (available in Submission and Publication Formats). For more information on the handling of personal data, please refer  to  the journal's Privacy Statement.
  2. The authors accept that the economic rights of their published works belong to the Universal Academy, which can preserve and disseminate them in open access with the aforementioned Creative Commons license.
  3. Authors may establish additional agreements for the distribution of the published version, such as self-archiving in institutional repositories or its dissemination in other media, as long as it is non-commercial and it is indicated that the work was originally published in The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life, including the publication data (volume, number, year, pages and DOI).
  4. In the event of allegations of copyright infringement, the journal will notify the author, analyze the case and take the appropriate measures (expression of concern, correction, retraction or dismissal).
  5. In the event of a dispute about the content or authorship of the text, the responsibility will fall exclusively on the author.
