All manuscripts must include a statement of "Availability of Data and Materials".

Data availability statements should include information about where data supporting the results reported in the article can be found, including, where applicable, links to publicly archived datasets analyzed or generated during the study. Data refers to the minimum dataset necessary to interpret, replicate, and extend the findings reported in the article. It is recognized that it is not always possible to share research data publicly, for example, when individual privacy could be compromised, and in such cases, the availability of data must still be declared in the manuscript along with any conditions for accessing them.

Data availability statements can take one of the following forms (or a combination of more than one if needed for multiple datasets):

  • The datasets generated and/or analyzed during the current study are available in the [NAME], [PERSISTENT WEB LINK TO THE DATASETS] repository.
  • The datasets used and/or analyzed during the current study are available upon request from the corresponding author.
  • All data generated or analyzed during this study are included in this published article.
  • The datasets generated and/or analyzed during the current study are not publicly available due to [REASON THE DATA ARE NOT PUBLIC], but are available upon request from the corresponding author.
  • Data sharing is not applicable to this article, as no datasets were generated or analyzed during the current study.
  • Not applicable. If your manuscript does not contain any data, please indicate 'Not applicable' in this section.

When the data generated or analyzed during the study are included in the article, in The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life, they are incorporated through a data set, in which the data (tables, data and other resources provided by the authors) are included in order to make them accessible to all researchers. Access to backup clouds can also be supported, sharing the link to the attached data of the articles.

Data sets are for public use and if you use any in your article, you must be cited. The reference to the data set must be with a DOI or URL.

Example: doi: 10.17632/ssvn96xrd3.1 or https://unisimon.digitalcommonsdata.com/datasets/ssvn96xrd3/1

How to cite a data set in bibliographic references?

The way to cite a data set in APA 7th. Edition is as follows:
