Open access policy

The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life provides open and immediate access to its content, based on the principle of offering the public free-form research and continuous exchange of knowledge (Open Access). And the costs generated in the process of editorial management of the articles are assumed by the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, the publishing entity.

It is based on the open access diamond route: neither authors nor readers have to pay for the submission, processing and publication of articles, they are completely free of charge. No marketing process is followed.

All publications in the Scientific Journal of Technology for Life are under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0. This license implies that you may copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, remix, transform and build upon the material for any purpose, provided that the authorship and first publication in this journal are acknowledged, a link to the license is provided and any changes have been made.
