The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life considers as an author a person who has contributed intellectually to the elaboration of the article that is submitted to the journal. Following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to be considered an author, the following criteria must be met:

  1. Have participated in the conception, writing and design, or in obtaining the data, or in the analysis and interpretation of the data of the work that has resulted in the article.
  2. Have participated in the writing or critical revision of the text.
  3. Have approved the version that is finally going to be published.

The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life accepts papers with a maximum of four authors, who must appear from the moment the manuscript is submitted for the first time and in all processes

Contributions from authors

The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life is governed by the taxonomy CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) to describe each author's individual contributions to the work. The corresponding author is responsible for providing contributions from all authors. The editorial team expects that all authors have reviewed, discussed, and accepted their individual contributions. Contributions will be published with the final article and must faithfully reflect the contributions to the work.

Ideas; Enunciation or development of the general goals and objectives of the research.

Healing of

Data

Management activities to redact (generate metadata), arrange data, and maintain research data (including software code, if necessary to interpret the data itself) for initial use and subsequent reuse.

Application of statistical, mathematical, computational or other formal techniques to analyze or synthesize study data.

Acquisition of

Funds

Acquisition of financial support for the project that gives rise to this publication. Or the declaration of autonomous development of financing

Research

Carry out a formal research process, in the case of experimental research have experts or know-its, especially for the collection of data/evidence.

Methodology

Development or design of methodology; Creation of proven models that can be replicated.

Administration of

Project

Responsibility for directing and coordinating the planning and execution of research activity.

Resources

Elaboration, creation and/or presentation of the published work by the original research group, specifically critical review, comment or review – including stages before or after publication. In this case, the Galley Test must be approved by the authors

Authors are encouraged to carefully review the list and order of authors before submitting their manuscript for the first time. Any addition, deletion or rearrangement of the authors' names must be done before the manuscript has been accepted and only with the approval of the journal editor. To request this change, the corresponding author will send to the attention of the editor: a) the reason justifying the request for modification of the list of authors; and b) the written confirmation (via email) of all the authors expressing their agreement with the incorporation, deletion or reorganization. In the case of the incorporation or deletion of an author, the confirmation of the affected author must also be included.
