Gender policy

The Scientific Journal of Technology for Life promotes gender equality and encourages diversity in the scientific community, in this framework it seeks to guarantee the representation of men and women in each issue. A minimum partition of forty percent (40%) of each of the sexes in the authorship of the articles is guaranteed, for each issue of the journal.

The main objective of this initiative is to contribute to the visibility, participation and plurality of scientific voices of all identities, thus promoting an inclusive and enriching environment for the production of knowledge. We are convinced that this measure not only strengthens the quality and relevance of our publications, but also reflects the diversity of perspectives that enrich scientific research in all its dimensions.

Similarly, we recommend that people who wish to publish in the Scientific Journal of Technology for Life, in their articles, inform whether the data of origin of the research take into account sex or gender, in order to allow the identification of possible differences. In addition to this, we encourage all social sectors to be taken into account in the proposed research, our philosophy is Laic.
