Abstract

This project focused on the development of a real-time tracking and monitoring system using the GPS module GY-NEO6MV2 and the ESP32-Wrover-b development board. An HTML-based front end was created for the user interface, while the back end was developed in Python to handle data processing. Communication between components was managed using the MQTT protocol, known for its lightweight and efficient messaging capabilities. The GPS module was responsible for obtaining geographic coordinates via satellite signals, which were then sent to the ESP32 board, acting as the main controller of the system. The microcontroller processed this information and transmitted it to the server through MQTT. The back end received and processed the location data for real-time display on the front end. The use of MQTT enabled smooth and efficient data exchange among all system components. In conclusion, a real-time tracking and monitoring solution was successfully developed using Arduino GPS, ESP32, HTML, Python, and MQTT, offering a user-friendly interface and efficient communication between devices
