IP Video Surveillance System for the Security of Quinta Nápoles Sistema de Videovigilancia IP para la Seguridad de la Quinta Nápoles

Abstract
Insecurity and active agricultural movements in rural areas such as Quinta Nápoles have demanded an immediate security solution in the absence of a police presence. The project was carried out using the PPDIOO life cycle and a mixed research approach combining qualitative aspects such as vulnerability, quantitative aspects such as the impact of the system, and bibliographic research on various topics related to IP video surveillance. Based on the research, a comprehensive and sustainable IP video surveillance system was designed and implemented. The architecture was based on optical transmission media (fiber optics) achieved through the PoE protocol (IEEE 802.3af/at), and the NVR was configured with the H.265 codec to optimize storage. This situation generates a solution implementing viable and sustainable techniques to achieve security for Quinta Nápoles. This report not only organized and supported the entire physical process of installing the system, but also detailed the specifications of the research methods, the results obtained, and the technological resources necessary for the implementation of the IP video surveillance system
