Abstract
This work aimed to develop a web application for the management of poultry production at the ULEAM farm "Ext. El Carmen", determining as a problem the ambiguous handling of data registration in the creation of reports made by students about birds (chicken) in the educational and research project of fish farming and minor species. The methodology used was qualitative and quantitative, the types of research applied were bibliographic and field using techniques such as the interview that was conducted with Dr. Janeth Jacome responsible for the project, and a survey of 42 students who are part of the educational project, once these results were analyzed, the difficulties that exist to record and archive the data that are kept manually, which results in obtaining reliable results. The present proposal consists of the development of an innovative web application, which functions as a comprehensive computer system, which provides a solution to these difficulties, allowing to record the necessary data for each batch of broiler chickens, obtain weekly reports, final expense report, as well as complete information of the batch during its rearing process. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of the system shows the reduced use of errors in records with sheets, improving the quality of data collection, allowing real-time access to key production indicators and facilitating the early detection of deviations in parameters such as feed conversion and improving the productivity and uniformity of batches
